For my first Lifestream I have chosen Lifstrea.ms, seemingly well rounded and full of goodies it has the feel of being here to stay long term. Once inside the dashboard is a bit overwhelming compared to your average social network with several aspects becoming clearer with every use. Thomas, the founder, is quick to help point the way in setting up your dashboard with all the extras imaginable. There are so many variations of “you” that if done right, from the beginning, this really could be as useful as the front page leads you to believe. While still in beta I am a bit thrilled with its point and click usability with more ease on the way.
I have set up most of my 7 individual profiles thus far as well as added all of my social network RSS feeds for me to get a snapshot of the days goings on as well as an in depth look if I have more time. Now thatI have this set up I need to go find a couple others to compare notes, as I first thought this would be a nice look at a Lifestream I really had no idea what I would encounter while researching this further. I am quite impressed with where we are all headed. Stay tuned, I will be adding to this in the next couple days as well as turning this into a several week spotlight and maybe a tweaking in my own project to encompass this into the internet marketing sector. Can you say “Profile Marketing”?
